Yes, ACTIVE Advantage is the premium membership of ACTIVE.com. ACTIVE.com is your portal to information, registration and community for thousands of activities and events. From endurance sports to Little League baseball, from summer camps to camping, from tennis to community center classes (and so much more), ACTIVE.com connects you with the sports and activities that you love to do. ACTIVE Advantage makes it cheaper and easier for you to participate in those activities.

There are 3 ways to become an ACTIVE Advantage member:

1. Directly through the ACTIVE Advantage Website: You may visit http://advantage.active.com/ and click the "Start Saving" or "Join Now" buttons to start a 30-day trial of the membership. Go through two quick membership enrollment steps and then start saving on the things you need to pursue your active lifestyle!

2. Through a free-trial offer presented during an online registration/reservation: After you submit payment for an online registration/reservation through an ACTIVE Network registration platform (ACTIVE, RegOnline, ReserveAmerica, etc), an offer for a free 30-day trial membership will appear. You can accept this offer and take advantage of the trial membership by verifying your email address and then clicking the acceptance button on the screen. If you do accept the trial offer, you'll receive a trial confirmation email from ACTIVE Advantage shortly after. Once the 30-day trial period has passed, your benefits will be extended into the full annual membership and you will be charged the current membership fee. You will receive a reminder email 14 days into your trial period and another notification when full membership billing occurs. If you do not wish to extend your membership (during the trial period or after), you may cancel at any time. You're always protected by our money back guarantee--if you're ever dissatisfied during your trial or thereafter, simply email or call us to cancel your membership and you'll receive a prorated refund of the annual fee, no questions asked.

3. By adding a trial or annual membership to your cart during an activity registration: On most activity/event registrations through ACTIVE, you have the opportunity to add a full annual membership (or a 30-day $1.95 trial) to your cart as a part of your transaction. The membership will be added to your purchase total and you will pay for the membership at the same time as you pay for your activity registration. This is a simple way to start your membership and immediately begin to take advantage of all member benefits. Just look for the "Add to Cart" callouts during your registration, follow the few easy steps, and complete your transaction.

ACTIVE Advantage provides members with exclusive deals on thousands of activities on ACTIVE, free training plans, free event entries, additional savings on GearUp daily deals, discounts for leading active-lifestyle brands, monthly product giveaways, hotel and car rental discounts, and more. The list of benefits is always growing!

If you sign up for the 30-day ACTIVE Advantage trial membership (either through the website or after an online activity registration), you'll receive full access to all member benefits during your trial period. When the 30 days of the trial are up, your benefits will automatically continue with a regular annual membership (at the current annual membership fee).

The annual membership fee is currently $64.95. That's less than $6 per month for full access to all activity registration discounts, free & discounted event entries, free training plans, retail/dining/travel discounts, monthly gear giveaways and more.

ACTIVE Advantage memberships renew automatically at the end of each 12 month period, so you don't need to worry! 30 days before your membership renewal date we'll send a notification email to remind you that your membership is about to renew. When your renewal is processed, we'll send another notification email to let you know that we billed your credit card on file and that your member benefits have been extended for another year. You don't need to do anything to keep enjoying your access to Advantage discounts.

The 30-day trial of the ACTIVE Advantage membership allows you to check out the program for yourself before starting a full annual membership. During this trial period you have full access to member benefits, including all ACTIVE registration discounts, access to free event entries, retail/dining/travel discounts, and more.

There are two ways to start your trial membership. You can start a 30-day trial through the website or, when registering online for an activity/event/campsite through the Active Network, you may be presented with the opportunity to try ACTIVE Advantage free for 30 days. Either way, if you decide during the trial period that you don't want to continue the membership, just let us know. Otherwise, at the end of your 30 day trial we will extend your member benefits for a full year at the then-current annual membership fee. Of course, you're always protected by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. Even if you decide after your 30 day trial that you're not satisfied with your membership, we'll give you a pro-rated refund for the unused months--no questions asked!

When registering online for an activity/event through the ACTIVE Network (including reserving a campsite on Reserve America), you may be presented with the opportunity to try ACTIVE Advantage free for 30 days. This offer is displayed after your registration is complete, but before your registration confirmation page. To opt-in to the trial membership offer, you are required to verify and re-enter your email address, and then select an offer acceptance button. If you are not interested in the Advantage trial membership, you simply have to click "No Thanks". With either choice you will then be taken to your registration/reservation confirmation page.

If you do choose to try the Advantage trial membership, you will receive a trial confirmation email. Half way through your trial membership period you will receive another "checking in" email that highlights featured discounts and encourages you to take advantage of the membership benefits. At the end of your 30 day trial we will extend your member benefits for a full year at the then-current annual membership fee (currently $64.95) and will send a notification email about the membership status change and billing.

Of course, you're always protected by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. Even if you decide after your 30 day trial period has ended that you're not satisfied with your membership, just let us know and we'll give you a pro-rated refund for the unused months--no questions asked!

If you decide during the 30-day trial period that you don't want to continue the membership, just let us know. If you accepted the ACTIVE Advantage 30-day trial membership offer during your activity registration or campground reservation through one of our Active Network properties, you are eligible to redeem registration rebates in the coming 12-months. This gift is yours to keep and redeem regardless of whether you continue your membership after the trial period.

Rebate requests can be submitted to ACTIVE by current Advantage members one of three ways:

1. Members can email the following information for each of their past four (4) reservations to AdvantageRebates-Outdoors@activenetwork.com

   • Campground name
   • Date of reservation
   • Reservation confirmation number

2. Members can email a screen shot of their “Past Reservations” page in their ReserveAmerica logged in member account to AdvantageRebates-Outdoors@activenetwork.com. If there are multiple account pages (ie, ReserveAmerica.com and Recreation.gov), send screenshots of each.

3. Members can email their past four (4) reservation confirmation emails to AdvantageRebates-Outdoors@activenetwork.com.

*All submissions must include the member’s name, email address and mailing address where the rebate check will be sent.
**All four (4) reservations included in the rebate claim must be made during one annual membership term (30-day trial period does not count).

ACTIVE.com Advantage members can receive discounts when registering for events on ACTIVE.

Simply follow the steps below to redeem your discount

Step 1: Find an event on ACTIVE and login. Use the ACTIVE directory to find an event. Click the login button in the upper right corner of the event details page. You will be re-directed to a login screen. After logging in, you will be sent back to the event details page.

Step 2: Click the "Register Now" button to sign up for the event. Complete all required registration fields and proceed to payment screen. When logged in as an Advantage member, your discount will automatically apply at the end of registration.

Step 3: Submit registration and receive discount. The discount amount will display in your shopping cart and will be deducted from your registration fees. The registration discount will vary and is excluded from some events. If the discount does not appear in your shopping cart, the event is not eligible.

ACTIVE Advantage members can access free and discounted entries to events across the country.

Simply follow the steps below to claim a free or discounted entry and register for the event.

Step 1: Go the Free Entry Deals page and login using the link in the top right hand corner. . After logging in, you will be sent back to the Free Entry Deals page.

Step 2a: Click an event and then click the "claim" button to redeem a FREE entry deal. A timer will update every minute until a deal can be redeemed. Once the countdown timer expires, the grey "coming soon" button changes to a "claim" button. Click the "claim" button. If you claim the deal, you will we see a congratulations message and be given a free entry coupon code. Click the register button to proceeed to the event's registration and use the code during checkout to save 100% on your entry.

Step 2b: Click the "register" button to redeem a discounted entry deal. A timer will update every minute until a deal can be redeemed. Once the countdown timer expires the blue "coming soon" button changes to a green "register" button. If you are logged in, a coupon code will display below the button. Copy this code and use it during checkout to receive your discounted entry. Click the "register" button to proceed to the event's registration page.

Step 3: Register for the event. Once you click the "register" button you will be guided to the event's registration form on ACTIVE. Complete the form and enter the coupon code at checkout. When the coupon code is successfully redeemed, the discount amount will appear in your shopping cart. Submit your registration.

On February 14th, 2013 at 10 am PST ACTIVE Advantage is giving 500 members the opportunity to claim a $20 Advantage membership coupon to share with a friend. If your friend uses the coupon to register for ACTIVE Advantage we will mail you a $10 check. Simply follow the steps below to claim a coupon.

Step 1: Go to the Spread the Love promo page and login using the link in the top right hand corner. After logging in, you will be sent back to the Spread the Love promo page.

Step 2: Click on the Spread the Love Deal and then click the “Get $20 Coupon” button to claim a FREE $20 coupon code for an Advantage membership to share with a friend. A timer will update every minute until a deal can be redeemed. Once the countdown timer expires, the grey "Coming Soon" button changes to a "Get $20 Coupon" button. Click the "Get $20 Coupon” button. If you claim the deal, you will we see a congratulations message and be given a $20 coupon code to share with a friend.

Step 3: Give your coupon code to a friend and have them go to
https://ACTIVE.com/MembershipDiscount to sign up for an Advantage membership for just $44.95.

Step 4: When your friend signs up, we’ll automatically mail you a check for $10.

1. If you are already an ACTIVE Advantage member and you are ready to buy a GearUp deal, login to Gear Up with your ACTIVE Advantage membership email address and password.

2. Once you login, your ACTIVE Advantage member price will be automatically displayed on your Gear Up cart page (no coupon code needed).

3. Complete the purchase just like you normally do! No extra steps required--it's that easy.

To receive your ACTIVE Advantage member discount of $10 off California State Park campgrounds, simply follow the steps below:

Step 1. Sign in to ReserveAmerica.com with an account tied to the email address you use to login to ACTIVE Advantage.

Step 2. Select the campgrounds you would like to book. Campgrounds with a yellow tag next to them indicate that it is eligible for the ACITVE Advantage discount of $10 off the reservation fee.
