Active.com Advantage New Year’s Resolution Rebate (Up to $20)

n. An exclusive benefit for any current Active.com Advantage or ActiveAdvantage member ("member") that registers for an event on Active.com (or any other Active Network website) from January 1- January 31, 2012.

Members who are eligible for a rebate need to follow the rebate process below – Don’t worry, its pretty easy. (We also included the legal mumbo jumbo for your reading enjoyment.)

Overview:

  • The individual must be an Active.com Advantage member at the time they register for the event.
  • Individuals that are currently not members can begin a 30-day trial membership prior to registering for an event on Active.com (or any other Active Network website) to qualify.
  • The individual must be a member at the time they submit their rebate request.
  • The event registration must take place between 12:00 am January 1 – 11:59 pm January 31, 2012.
  • The event that the individual registers for can take place at any time (i.e., the event doesn’t have to take place in January).
  • The rebate request must be submitted no later than March 31, 2012.
  • Each member is only eligible to receive 1 rebate from this promotion.
  • The rebate can be applied to an event registration on any Active Network platform.
  • The rebate can be applied to the registration of immediate family members or members of the same households (parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, whether related or not).

Process for Receiving a Rebate:

  • Members must register for an event on Active.com (or any other Active Network website) from January 1- January 31, 2012 and retain confirmation of their registration (confirmation email or image of confirmation page).
  • Members must submit rebate requests by email to AdvantageRebates-Promotions@activenetwork.com or mail to Active.com at the following address: New Year Free Gift Promotion, Active Network, 10182 Telesis Court, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92121.
  • The rebate request must include the member’s activity registration confirmation (confirmation email or image of confirmation page), and can be sent as a forward or attachment (or print out if mailed).
  • If emailed, the member must include “Active.com Advantage New Year Promo” in the subject line and include the member's mailing address in the body of the email.
  • A rebate check will be mailed to the member when Active receives registration confirmation and the member’s qualifications are verified.
  • Members should expect to receive their rebate check in the mail within 8-10 weeks following their rebate request.

Additional Important Details:

  • The maximum $20 rebate amount will only be granted if the member paid at least $20 to register for the event through Active.com (or any other Active Network website).
  • For registrations costing less than $20, you are still eligible for a rebate based on the cost of registration. However, for an event costing less than $20, the rebate amount will be rounded down to the nearest $5 increment (e.g., if the event costs $17, the rebate will be $15. If the event costs $12, the rebate will be $10, etc.).
  • All rebate requests are final. Once a rebate request is submitted for a specific event, members may not change the event the rebate is to be applied to.
  • If you choose to cancel your membership after receiving a rebate, the refund you receive for the cost of membership will be reduced. If a member cancels his/her membership within the same (rolling) 12 month period in which he/she redeem their rebate (and asks for a membership refund), the rebate amount will be deducted from the refund of their membership fees (i.e. for a membership costing $59.95 an individual would receive a maximum refund of $39.95 if they received a $20 rebate).
