ACTIVE Advantage is the premium membership program of ACTIVE, designed to support and encourage your active lifestyle by providing exclusive discounts on thousands of activities on ACTIVE. No matter what your passions are, it is our mission to make it more affordable and easier for you to pursue the activities you love.

Is ACTIVE Advantage affiliated with ACTIVE.com?

Yes, ACTIVE Advantage is the premium membership of ACTIVE.com. ACTIVE.com is your portal to information, registration and community for thousands of activities and events. From endurance sports to Little League baseball, from summer camps to camping, from tennis to community center classes (and so much more), ACTIVE.com connects you with the sports and activities that you love to do. ACTIVE Advantage makes it more affordable and easier for you to participate in those activities.

What are the benefits of the ACTIVE Advantage membership?

ACTIVE Advantage provides members with waived processing fees on all activities through ACTIVE, additional savings on www.gearup.active.com daily deals, discounts for leading active-lifestyle brands, product giveaways, travel discounts, and more. How much does an ACTIVE Advantage membership cost?

If you sign up for the 30-day ACTIVE Advantage trial membership (either through the website or after an online activity registration), you'll receive access to all trial member benefits during your trial period. When the 30 days of the trial are up, your benefits will automatically continue with a regular annual membership (at the current annual membership fee). If you do not wish to extend your membership (during the trial period or after), you may cancel at any time. You're always protected by our Member Satisfaction Pledge--if you're ever dissatisfied during your trial or thereafter, simply email or call us to cancel your membership and you'll receive a prorated refund of the annual fee.

The annual membership fee is currently $89.95. That's less than $8 per month for full access to all activity registration discounts and more.

What is the ACTIVE Advantage Member Satisfaction Pledge?

We’re working hard to bring you the best discounts on all the things you need to do the activities you love--after all, we love the same activities as you and we also want great discounts! Because we’re confident you’ll love this program, ACTIVE Advantage features a Member Satisfaction Pledge. If at any time during your annual membership you are not completely satisfied, we’ll cancel your membership and give you a prorated refund - no questions asked!

How do I sign up for the ACTIVE Advantage membership?

There are 3 ways to become an ACTIVE Advantage member:

  1. Directly through the ACTIVE Advantage Website: You may visit http://advantage.active.com/ and click the "Start Saving" or "Join Now" buttons to start a 30-day trial of the membership. Go through two quick membership enrollment steps and then start saving on the things you need to pursue your active lifestyle!
  2. Through a free-trial offer presented during an online registration/ reservation: After you submit payment for an online registration/ reservation through an ACTIVE Network registration platform (ACTIVE, ReserveAmerica, etc), an offer for a free 30-day trial membership will appear. You can accept this offer and take advantage of the trial membership by verifying your email address and then clicking the acceptance button on the screen. If you do accept the trial offer, you'll receive a trial confirmation email from ACTIVE Advantage shortly after.
  3. By adding a trial membership to your cart during an activity registration: On most activity/event registrations through ACTIVE, you have the opportunity to add a trial membership to your cart as a part of your transaction. This is a simple way to start your membership and immediately begin to take advantage of all member benefits. Just look for the "Add to Cart" callouts during your registration, follow the few easy steps, and complete your transaction.

Once the 30-day trial period has passed, your benefits will be extended into the full annual membership and you will be charged the current membership fee. You will receive a reminder email 14 days into your trial period and another notification when full membership billing occurs. If you do not wish to extend your membership (during the trial period or after), you may cancel at any time. You're always protected by our Member Satisfaction Pledge --if you're ever dissatisfied during your trial or thereafter, simply email or call us to cancel your membership and you'll receive a prorated refund of the annual fee, no questions asked.

How do I cancel my ACTIVE Advantage membership?

If you wish to cancel your ACTIVE Advantage membership, you can do so in one of 2 ways:

  1. Email our Customer Support team at ActiveAdvantage@ACTIVE.com
  2. Turn off auto-renew by:
    • Logging into ACTIVE.com with your Advantage account email and password
    • Clicking on “MY ACCOUNT” in the top right hand corner of the site
    • Going to the “Active Advantage” section and clicking on the “do not renew” link towards the bottom of the page

How do I receive a refund for my ACTIVE Advantage membership?

To request a refund for your ACTIVE Advantage membership, please contact our customer support team by email at ActiveAdvantage@ACTIVE.com. With our Member Satisfaction Pledge, if at any time during your annual membership you are not completely satisfied, we’ll cancel your membership and give you a prorated refund.

Does the trial membership become a full membership?

If you decide during the 30-day trial period that you don't want to continue the membership, just let us know. Otherwise, at the end of your 30 day trial we will extend your member benefits for a full year and we will automatically bill your card the then-current annual membership fee. Of course, you're always protected by our Member Satisfaction Pledge. Even if you decide after your 30 day trial period ends that you're not satisfied with your membership, we'll give you a prorated refund.

Do I need to renew my ACTIVE Advantage membership from year to year?

ACTIVE Advantage memberships renew automatically at the end of each 12 month period, so you don't need to worry! 30 days before your membership renewal date we'll send a notification email to remind you that your membership is about to renew. When your renewal is processed, we'll send another notification email to let you know that we billed your credit card on file and that your member benefits have been extended for another year. You don't need to do anything to keep enjoying your access to Advantage discounts.

How do I receive my ACTIVE Advantage trial offer registration rebates?

If you accepted the ACTIVE Advantage 30-day trial membership offer during your activity registration or campground reservation through one of our Active Network properties, you are eligible to redeem registration rebates in the coming 12-months. This gift is yours to keep and redeem regardless of whether you continue your membership after the trial period.

How do I redeem ACTIVE Advantage registration discounts?

ACTIVE.com Advantage members can receive discounts when registering for events on ACTIVE. Simply follow the steps below to redeem your discount:

  1. Find an event on ACTIVE and login. Use the ACTIVE directory to find an event. Click the login button in the upper right corner of the event details page. You will be re-directed to a login screen. After logging in, you will be sent back to the event details page.
  2. Click the "Register Now" button to sign up for the event. Complete all required registration fields and proceed to payment screen. When logged in as an Advantage member, your discount will automatically apply at the end of registration.
  3. Submit registration and receive discount. The discount amount will display in your shopping cart and will be deducted from your registration fees. The registration discount will vary and is excluded from some events. If the discount does not appear in your shopping cart, the event is not eligible.

How do I claim my AllTrails Pro Rebate?

How do I redeem the ACTIVE Advantage discount on ACTIVE GearUp deals?

  1. If you are already an ACTIVE Advantage member and you are ready to buy a GearUp deal, simply login to ACTIVE GearUp with your ACTIVE Advantage membership email address and password.
  2. Once you login, your ACTIVE Advantage member prices will automatically be displayed and your discount will be applied at checkout (no coupon code needed).
  3. Complete the purchase just like you normally do! No extra steps required -- it's that easy.
